Description
The story begins at a zoo where morning has arrived and most animals are just waking up. Unlike the others, Boo is a nocturnal bushbaby preparing to go to sleep. Before he can rest, Boo realizes he needs his special bedtime hug, but his mommy is nowhere to be found.
Boo wanders through the zoo, approaching various animals in search of the perfect hug
Key Features
The Search: He meets a diverse cast of zoo favorites, including a penguin, lion, giraffe, gorilla, and kangaroo.
Trial and Error: As Boo tries out hugs from these different animals, he finds they aren't quite right—one is too tight, another is too scratchy, and another is too wet.
The Resolution: Eventually, Boo feels "warm, familiar, comfy arms" around him. He finally finds his mommy, who gives him the "just-right" bedtime hug, allowing him to relax and fall asleep.
