Description
This book is a really good way of learning about Greek myths and what the Greeks believed in. I liked the way the stories in the series were connected by Atticus telling the stories to people he met on his journey. My favourite isThe Golden King and the Ass’s Ears, where Silenus gets a gift but he also gets punished for greed. The message is not to be too greedy for wealth, because there are other important things. I liked the way that the stories had a moral or a message. The illustrations were good because they contributed to the story. I think that there could have been more detail. For younger children it was good as it was, but for my age it could be more complex. I would recommend it for 7 or 8 year old.
