Are you passionate about books and love working with children? We have an exciting opportunity for a talented and tech- savvy Filipina woman to join our team at the enchanting Children's Bookstore located in Salmiya, Kuwait.
Position: Cashier / Sales / Customer Service
Requirements:
- Fluency in English and/or Arabic
- Proficiency in using an iPad, POS systems, and Microsoft Excel
- Adept with technology and comfortable troubleshooting minor technical issues with customers
- Exceptional communication skills to engage and assist young readers and their families
- Genuine enthusiasm for children's literature and a knack for recommending age- appropriate books
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting parents and children in their book selections
- Handle cash transactions and utilize our point- of- sale system for efficient checkout experiences
- Manage inventory, update stock information, and monitor product availability
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment, including book displays and reading areas
- Conduct book- related activities, storytimes, and events to engage young readers
- Collaborate with the team to create visually appealing displays and promotions
