The story is set in late eighteenth century England and centers around the Bennet family which consists of Mr. and Mrs. Bennet and their five daughters. Jane and Elizabeth, the elders daughters, are the best of friends and share their hopes and dreams together. Mr. Bingley, a wealthy neighbour, develops a liking for Jane. His friend, Mr. Darcy, is a handsome but proud and rude man. His begins liking Elizabeth, a lady below his class. Elizabeth, on the other hand, shares a love-hate relationship with him. This classic is full of comical situations that make it worth reading.
